The Air Jordan 1 Mid Chicago Toe features a leather and nylon upper in black, white, and Gym Red. A nylon tongue with a black “Jumpman” logo and a white midsole complete the design.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Chicago Toe was released in April 2020.
Mid for mid, it seems there’s really no escaping the Diffusion silhouette, and while it bears a strong resemblance to the famous Air Jordan 1 High, it still leaves a little to be desired in terms of its overall design. Knowing this, however, the brand has slowly begun to reintroduce traditional schemes with loose deviations from their traditional form, adding new materials, or mixing up the scheme with different arrangements.
Definitely of this kind is this latest model, which takes the ever-coveted, almost endlessly praised “Chicago” and adds a color unlike any other except triple black. Side panels, tongues, and even the midsole walls match the classic—aside from the inclusion of the red profile—while accents through the Swoosh, the topline padding, the aforementioned forefoot, and the laces favor the much darker hue.
