The Air Jordan 4 Retro 11Lab4 Red was a limited edition release in the Air Jordan line in 2015 and is part of the 11Lab4 shoe series.
The outsole of the 11Lab4 Red Air Jordan 4 Retro is designed similarly to previous versions of the Jordan 4, with a herringbone pattern for traction. The outsoles are red, and the insoles feature the Jumpman logo along with the word “Flight.” The upper is constructed entirely of premium patent leather and features a lace-up closure system and perforations on the sidewalls.
The all-red aesthetic just won’t go away. Next weekend, Jordan Brand will release one of the most talked-about upcoming releases of the year—the tonal red Air Jordan IV, officially called the Air Jordan 11Lab4 “University Red.” The patent leather upper is inspired by the Air Jordan 11, but the silhouette is completely similar to the 4, albeit with a molded toe box first seen on the Air Jordan 4 “Laser.”
The hybrid Air Jordan 11Lab4 essentially uses the classic Air Jordan 4 as its main canvas, while its overall composition is modified by the iconic patent leather of the Air Jordan 11. Dipped in all-red, the model creates a sleek and striking look, while also exuding contemporary sensibility with its shimmering physique. Furthermore, the only notable contrasting element is the rear portion of the midsole, which features a subtly visible Air bubble unit in the heel for enhanced cushioning.
