The Air Jordan 1 Low Gold Toe is a low-cut version of the Air Jordan 1 that was available as part of a half-year collection. This sneaker features a leather upper with white, black and metallic gold accents. The white accents appear on the leather side inserts, while the metallic gold accents appear on the toe box, heel tab and collar inserts. Black leather inserts lie over these striking inserts. The leather upper of this shoe is stitched to a white midsole, which is topped off by a roughened black outsole. The Air Jordan 1 Low Gold Toe first released on July 1, 2019 Jordan Brand recently amped up the energy around their Air Jordan 1 Low by infusing it with popular color schemes carried over from the Air Jordan 1 High, and the latest familiar color palette to appear on the low-cut sneaker is the regal “Gold Toe.” These “Gold Toe” AJ1 Lows are a rework of the popular makeup that first appeared in 2018. They feature a patent leather upper in the familiar colors of white, gold and black. Aside from the cut, the only differences from the high-top version are in the tongue and heel – the former features color-coordinated embroidered hits, while the latter features a black ball-and-wing logo on the base accented with precious metal. A white midsole and black outsole complete the look. What really sets these AJ1 Lows apart from their other color-blocked counterparts, however, are the aforementioned materials. Most low models swap out the full leather construction of the high model for nubuck overlays, but this pair retains the patent leather entirely to ensure the signature feel isn’t compromised one bit. This low-top variation of the Air Jordan 1 features white leather used for the side panels, followed by overlays of black patent leather and the signature gold hue on the toe cap, collar area and heel. Final design elements include the Wings logo on each heel tab, the black Jumpman logo stitched on the tongues, a white midsole and a black rubber outsole. As mentioned, the Air Jordan 1 Low Gold Toe launched last night at select retailers. Even Nike.com had them up for grabs this morning (now sold out).
