The Air Jordan 1 Low Shattered Backboard features a black nubuck leather upper with white and orange leather overlays. From there, the black suede lining around the forefoot and orange leather heel with an Air Jordan Wings logo stitched in the center complete the design. The Air Jordan 1 Low Shattered Backboard reps released in August 2021.
Rumored to return to regular production in Spring 2021, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG is set to add an “Orange/White/Black” version to its underdeveloped roster. Although collaborators like Travis Scott and Dior have given big looks to the original low-top Jordan 1, NIKE, Inc. has yet to return the silhouette to its 1985 form. However, an initial model of the upcoming pair suggests that 2021 will be full Jordan 1 Low pairs with “NIKE AIR” branding (no Jumpman logos) on the tongue label as well as the famous Wings logo on the top heel overlay instead of the bottom. The overall shape of the shoe also appears slimmer and is accompanied by eight lace holes instead of seven. Unlike the popular Jordan 1 Low Shattered Backboard version of Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker, the low-top pair, rumored to release in August 2021, will sport “Orange” overlays (with the exception of the profile Swooshes), branding and profile to make a truly eye-catching statement.
An orange Air Jordan 1 Low OG, first seen via mock-up in mid-October 2020, has recently surfaced in unofficial hand images ahead of its anticipated August release. The upcoming pair is crafted from leather and reminiscent of 2016’s retro-look Reverse Jordan 1 Low Shattered Backboard, while “White” sets the stage for vibrant “Starfish” overlays. Profile Swooshes provide a strong “Black” contrast, as do the “Wings” insignia on the heel, which appear in their original 1985 placement. The sole units continue to echo the summer-ready color palette of the low-top Jordan 1 model, while recalling the equally expressive Nike Dunk Low elements. Taken together, each component marks the “remastered” return of the first lifestyle option of Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker.
