Air Jordan 4 Canyon Purple (Women’s)

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Canyon Purple W was inspired by Tinker Hatfield’s 1989 design. This shoe replaces the traditional leather or nubuck construction.

This Air Jordan 4 for women features a shaggy suede upper in bright purple. Lime Green accents land on the speckled eyelets and midsole while the signature Jumpman logo adorns the Safety Orange woven tongue label. The bright tones are offset by contrasting black accents on the sculpted wings, Jumpman-embossed heel tab and herringbone rubber outsole.

As always, Jordan Brand saves its best releases for the second half of the year. And alongside another Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” retro, Fall 2022 will introduce a few Air Jordan 4s including but not limited to the “Canyon Purple”.

After its unveiling last spring, official images of the “Canyon Purple” have finally surfaced. Previously compared to one of the rarest pairs in Travis Scott’s F&F catalog, the colorway comes in a deep shade of purple that adorns both the laces and every suede piece. Black is often used alongside, paralleling the speckled green tones that accentuate the support wings and midsole. Finally, orange color accents on the inside as well as Jumpman branding on the tongue and insole.

Over the course of 2022, sneaker culture has undergone quite a paradigm shift as Air Jordan 1s are no longer as sought after as they once were. However, the Air Jordan 4 is arguably at the top of its class – and tomorrow the silhouette will deliver another notable offering: the women’s-exclusive „Canyon Purple.“

“Canyon Purple” sets the tone for the entire look as it is brushed across almost every part of the upper – especially the parts that are made of soft suede. Adjacent, equally bold accents of “Alligator Green” adorn the midsole, whose speckles pay subtle homage to the popular ACG sublabel. Finally, “Safety Orange” rounds out the colorway both through the Jumpman branding and on the back of the tongue.
