As part of the Fearless Pack, Jordan Brand commissioned Japanese brand Facetasm to design the Jordan 1 Mid SE Facetasm, which is now available on . Designer Hiromichi Ochiai implements his signature crinkle texture throughout the upper. This Jordan 1 Mid SE features a white leather upper with light blue and navy overlays. An orange heel tab with Facetasm branding, bright outlines on the Wings logo, and a white midsole with a mini Jumpman on the heel complete the design. These sneakers were released in November 2019. Often known for pushing the boundaries of imagination-with each core collection having a clear sense of the avant-garde-FACETASM continues to surprise this time around with its uncharacteristically toned-down approach. The Japanese label, which rarely launches a footwear collaboration, begins an upward trend as part of the extensive Air Jordan 1 Mid Fearless Facetasm reps collection, expressing its own take on its Tokyo home base with vibrant colors and contrasts that are almost comic-book in nature. The overlays, certainly the most prominent of the entire kit, are in muted yet bright shades of blue, with adjacent panels and Swooshes darkened by a classic navy blue. The midsoles, left in colorless white, match the toe box and profile bases in a rather standard manner, with the bright red outlines of the Jumpman and wings badges drawing attention in line with the tongue patch and branded tab. With few modifications, the pair is kept fairly simple overall, aside from the orange pull tab placed directly on the upper heel.
