Crafted from smooth leather, the Air Jordan 1 Mid Grey Camo features the AJ1’s signature color-blocking technique and is predominantly white, with gray camouflage and white camo sections complementing the design.
This Mid Air Jordan 1 features white, photon dust, and gray fog leather with a camouflage Swoosh logo on the sides. The mid-top pair features leather panels along the upper, midsole, and collar, and features a contrasting Wings logo and Jumpman logo along the tongue tab.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Grey Camo reps was released on December 21, 2020.
The Jumpman team has ensured that the Air Jordan 1 Mid remains one of their most prolific silhouettes on the market all year, constantly releasing and discovering a flood of new colorways. Some were unique in their own fresh color palettes, while others essentially borrowed the same color blocking from highly acclaimed Air Jordan 1 Highs like the “Bred” and Union collaborations. Looking ahead, it seems the silhouette will retain one final pattern for its next iteration, as its neutral colorway somewhat recalls the look of the now ridiculously expensive Dior Jordan 1.
The combination of white leather paired with light gray overlays is very reminiscent of the popular designer collaboration, but differentiates itself with the Swooshes featuring camouflage patterns that match the same two tones. Given that there are so many custom sneaker designers these days, we wouldn’t be surprised if someone out there got their hands on this special pair, found fake Dior fabric, and glued it onto the Nike checks.
