The Women’s Air Jordan 1 Mid UNC (W) is a version of Jordan’s beloved Air Jordan 1 Mid. Inspired by MJ’s alma mater, this colorway features a leather upper with a white base, a perforated toe box, wingtips, and Air Jordan wing logos. The white base of the upper is contrasted by powder blue overlays and Nike Swoosh logos. For added comfort, this shoe features white cushioned midsoles and a reinforced blue outsole for durability.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid has lost much of its stigma following the “FEARLESS ONES” hurricane, although accents like the Jumpman on the tongue are still intact to more clearly distinguish it from its revered high-top counterpart. Nevertheless, Jordan Brand continues to blur the lines by introducing more retro colorways, most recently the iconic metallics, whose various hues now open their arms to the loud UNC blue.
A fitting addition to the model’s lineup of women’s-exclusive models, the pair is executed almost perfectly, with smooth leather taking up the majority of the overall construction. Crisp white tones with matching midsoles are then broken up by the profile, Swoosh, ankle, and brand badges, while the cool tone boldly fits into the classic color-block design.
