The original Air Jordan 1 Chicago colorway was first introduced in 1985 and has only been reworked a few times since then. But 2022 is the year the colorway returns with an added vintage look. Pre-yellowed accents and a cracked leather upper create a crafted look marked by age and wear. The Air Jordan 1 Lost and Found Chicago reps will release in November 2022.
The Air Jordan 1 Lost & Found—formerly dubbed the “Chicago Reimagined”—is possibly the most anticipated release of 2022. And after numerous leaks and teasers, official images of the aged colorway finally surfaced just over a month ago, ahead of its November release date.
The Lost & Found Delving into every detail, from the box to the materials themselves, Found paints a vivid scene where a set of Chicago 1s is discovered deep in the basement/storage of a corner store. Based on a spec inspired by its 1985 counterpart, the shoe features worn, aged details throughout. The leather on the collar, midsole, and toe, for example, exhibits severe cracking, complemented by the dusty finish of the outsole and wear throughout the packaging. And to further deepen the storytelling, the Jumpman included a vintage-inspired invoice with each pair.
