The Air Jordan 1 High Dark Marina Blue features a smooth black leather upper with Dark Marina Blue overlays and Swooshes. A black Jordan Wings logo on the ankle collar pays homage to the origins of the Air Jordan 1. A contrasting white and blue Air sole completes the design.

Teased throughout the better half of 2021, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Dark Marina Blue was confirmed on December 10, 2021, as part of Jordan Brand’s Spring 2022 retro collection. Official images have been revealed ahead of the pair’s February 16 release date.
Undoubtedly a nod to the model’s original “Royal Blue” colorway, the upcoming sneakers are another addition to the legacy of Peter Moore’s 37-year-old design. A “black” smooth leather base sets the stage for the titular “Dark Marina Blue” shade, which covers all upper overlays from the forefoot to the lower heel. The profile Swooshes also reference the rich blue color of the Air Jordan 1, as do the laces and the “NIKE AIR” brand labels on the top of the tongue. The collar and “Wings” insignia on the lateral ankle flap are reminiscent of its 1985 predecessor, opting for a pitch-dark arrangement that allows the blue counterpart to revel in the spotlight even more. Underfoot, the big retro features a “white” midsole and an outsole dipped in the main color, a combination reminiscent of previous Nike Dunk drops.
