Jordan Brand continued its Lucky Green colorway pattern in early 2023 with the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Lucky Green. The Air Jordan 1 is the third model to receive the Lucky Green treatment, following the Jordan 2 and Jordan 3.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG features a leather upper enlivened by shades of white, black, and Lucky Green throughout. Lucky Green Nike branding appears on the black tongue and insoles. The sneakers are tied together with Lucky Green laces.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Lucky Green was released on April 15, 2023.
First seen towards the end of 2022, the Air Jordan 1 Lucky Green reps are among the most exciting releases of the year, pale in comparison only to models like the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined.” And after several teasers over the past few months, official images of the Celtics-friendly colorway have finally surfaced.
The Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” is similar to the “Black Toe” in its color blocking and is expected to launch sometime this April. The titular green is front and center on the shoe, highlighting not only the laces and branding, but also the heel counter, ankle tabs, and outsole. Elsewhere, the design is similar to its aforementioned counterpart, with the Swoosh and overlays painted black and the base and midsole white.
