Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Skyline

With the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Skyline, Jordan Brand pays homage to the original Michael Jordan skyline photograph.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Skyline features gradient prints in orange, pink, and blue, depicting the iconic Michael Jordan photo of him diving in front of the Chicago skyline. Jordan Brand used a canvas upper and sail midsole to give the sneaker a vintage-inspired look. The sneakers come with specially designed packaging modeled after the Michael Jordan skyline photograph.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Skyline was released on April 8, 2023.

Thanks to sneaker leakers and early buyers, we’re entering 2023 with almost complete knowledge of what will be launching in a few months. And while Jordan Brand appears to have saved its best for the second half of the year, there are still a number of spring highlights to look out for, such as the previously revealed Air Jordan 1 “Skyline.”

This upcoming Air Jordan 1, however, mimics not a typical skyline, but the backdrop of one of Michael Jordan’s most famous photographs. Here, the timing of the image is mimicked by the canvas overlays, which transition from bright, warm tones to faded blues. In contrast, the base is done in neutral black and white tones, while the midsole opts for a light cream.

For a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Skyline,” check out the leaked image below. According to previous reports, these are expected to release on March 18, 2023, via both Nike SNKRS and regular retailers.
