Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG True Blue

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG True Blue was a special release celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 3 line.

The upper of this retro high shoe is made of smooth leather. The base is white, the Swoosh is true blue, and the overlays are true blue and cement gray. True blue is also used for the Wings logo on the collar, tongue label, laces, Nike Air branding on the white insole, and sockliner. Soles with encapsulated AIR units complete the design.

Continuing this massive influx of official images of Jordan releases in 2023, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sports the ever-familiar “True Blue” theme.

While this Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG edition is a touch of red, it’s not a true “Air Jordan 3 True Blue” homage, but it hits all the boxes that have excited AJ1 fanatics for the past half-decade. The signature blue hue touches the forefoot and lace collar overlay, with matching Swoosh and WINGS logos balancing the cement gray pairing on the heel and ankle collar. A smooth white leather appears across the underlay, matching the solid white outsole. A new shoebox color also appears, as the classic OG-style NIKE AIR shoebox is dipped in this nostalgic hue. Jordan Brand really could have added a True Red to the tongue label or even the aforementioned WINGS logo, which makes us wonder why that was left out in the first place.
