The Air Jordan 1 High OG UNC Toe is taking the sneaker game by storm. Jordan Brand masterfully incorporates a unique color combination of university blue, black, and white into this iconic silhouette.

The Jordan 1 High OG UNC Toe features Jordan 1 University Blue on the toe box and heel, perfectly contrasting with the crisp white leather on the midsole and black on the Swoosh and ankle collar. These sneakers sit atop a clean white midsole, offset by a vibrant University Blue outsole, creating a striking visual balance.

The Jordan 1 High OG UNC Toe released on July 22, 2023.

Jordan Brand’s signature “Toe”-style color-blocking formula returns to stores in early fall, bringing with it one of the most iconic colorways of the Air Jordan fabric.

This colorway of black, university blue, and white, colloquially known as the UNC Jordan 1, is clad in leather, with smooth black overlays and ankle padding, smooth white midsoles, and the tumbled texture of the Tar Heel-inspired blue hue on the toe box, ankle collar, and heel. The black nylon tongue and white midsole are standard on the Air Jordan 1, as is the solid rubber outsole, which itself is University Blue.

Even though Air Jordan 1 models have indeed cooled down considerably in 2023, it’s hard to see this attractive release on shelves. In short: Don’t sleep on it.

A release date is currently planned for July 22, 2023. Family sizes (adult/GS/PS/TD) have been confirmed to be available at Nike SNKRS and Jordan retailers worldwide. Stay tuned for an updated store list as the release approaches.

Since 2015, Jordan Brand has honored His Airness’ Carolina Blue roots with an annual homage to the UNC Jordan 1 color palette. From his first to his twelfth signature silhouette, the iconic “Powder Blue” has adorned many models and now lands on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG for an upcoming summer release.

The latter’s cream base layer, which adopts the exact same color blocking as its 2019 “Obsidian” counterpart, is instead rendered in a fresh white outfit that wraps the midfoot and midsole. By choosing to further darken the once-dim navy mudguard, Swoosh, collar, and heel counter, the aforementioned embellishments enjoy a stark jet-black contrast. The back half of the silhouette and the underfoot profile are enveloped in a gorgeous sky blue, while the base color of the toe box also receives the brand’s titular “Powder Blue” hue.

Enjoy a first look at the Air Jordan 1 UNC Toe below, which releases in full family sizes on July 8, while we await further release details.
