Air Jordan 1 Retro High Silver Toe (Women’s)

Jordan Brand continued its “Black Toe” theme with the Air Jordan 1 Silver Toe (Women’s). With its introduction in women’s sizes, the Silver Toe brings a new look to Jordan’s ever-growing women’s collection. A spinoff of the 2018 Jordan 1 High Gold Toe, the women’s Jordan 1 Silver Toe (W) replaces the metallic gold patent leather construction with metallic silver crinkle leather.

White and black leather form the midsole, toe cap, and Swoosh as a nod to other classic Black Toe designs. Nike Air branding on the tongue, an Air Jordan Wings logo on the ankle, and a white/black sole complete the design. The Air Jordan 1 Silver Toe (W) for women was released in February 2021.

Even though we’re only halfway through 2020, Jordan Brand has already taken the liberty of unveiling a handful of its retro initiatives for next year. Following the recent announcements of the upcoming “University Blue” and “Volt/University Gold” makeups, the Air Jordan 1 High now announces that it’s preparing a “Metallic Silver” colorway exclusively for women to join them. While this first image here is just a mock-up, it’s likely that the kicks will be based exclusively on grayscale tones to represent the whole.

Based on the official colorways, it’s quite possible that these will use similar striking silver accents to Aleali May’s 2017 Jordan 1 collaboration, only interrupted by more angelic panels toward the midfoot.
