Building on the success of their previous collaborations, Travis Scott adds another new design to his collaboration with Jumpman: the Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott reps, available now at Anthony Kicks. Travis hinted at the release of this shoe during his Astroworld tour, leaving fans of his music and the Jordan Brand with one question: When will these shoes release? On Friday night, July 19, 2019, Travis answered the crowd by making them available on his website and posting them on the SNKRS app the following day. This AJ 1 Low features a black upper with dark brown overlays and red accents on the branding. Similar to the Air Jordan 1 High Travis Scott, La Flame has added its signature reverse Swoosh logo to the side. “Cactus Jack” insignia on the heel and upper, canvas midsole and dark brown outsole complete the design. These sneakers were released in July 2019. It features an all coffee bean color blocking that is the opposite of its seemingly more popular older sibling. The structure is obviously closer to the ground, although the iconic resemblance to the dedication remains. The soles, with their brown underside, provide a vintage aesthetic with a slightly yellowed hue, while the upper provides a stark contrast with its mix of earth tones. Black nubuck sits just behind the lighter colored inverted swoosh with overlapping sections opting for the sensual brown suede of the aforementioned high-top.
