The Air Jordan 4 Retro 30th Anniversary Laser was added to the Jordan catalog as a 30th Anniversary Edition.
This shoe features a clean white and metallic silver laser print in a graffiti print design across the entire upper. It also features a round toe, lace-up closure, and a flat sole. The signature Jumpman logo is visible on the heel in chrome metallic silver. Reflective 3M details on the “Flight” logo patch on the tongue labels and a translucent icy outsole complete the sneaker.
This 30th anniversary edition of the legendary Air Jordan 4. The entire upper is made of premium white leather, and laser engraving covers the entire shoe, giving this sneaker a unique look. Chrome and metallic silver accents, as well as an icy blue translucent outsole, complement the rest of the shoe. The retail price is set at $190, so you don’t have to worry about paying $250 like the Air Jordan 20 when it launched.
If you can, forget about the year of the Air Jordan 6 for a second (it looks like we only have one more release of the Infrared 6 to go anyway). Can we even call 2015 the year of the Air Jordan 7 anymore? With 2015 marking the 30th year that Michael Jordan’s signature sneakers hit retail shelves, we knew Jordan Brand had something special planned. We just didn’t know exactly what until previews of the laser-clad Air Jordan 1 surfaced. Then yesterday, we got some grainy, low-resolution shots of what looked like an Air Jordan 4 laser pattern. Here we can see the flawless pair in all its glory, from the contrasting icy outsole to the varying angles of the laser etching on the all-white leather base. This Air Jordan 4 also features reflective 3M detailing on the iconic “Flight” tongue patch, adding an extra touch of luxury if you slept through the three-year anniversary of the most important basketball line in history.
The Laser version of the Air Jordan 4 is just one of a few pairs included in Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan Retro Laser collection—others include the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 20, and the Jordan Dub Zero.
In 2005, Jordan Brand introduced its first laser-printed Air Jordan 4 silhouette. Ten years later, this unique design was reimagined to celebrate Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary.
This Air Jordan 4 edition features laser etching across the entire white leather base, which also includes reflective 3M details on the “Flight” tongue label, and is finished with an icy translucent outsole.
