The shoe is predominantly dressed in orange and covers all areas, including the inner lining and outsole. The entire upper is made of FlyKnit material, providing a sock-like fit, while the outsole is made of durable rubber. Despite the FlyKnit construction, the classic design elements of the Jordan 4 have been retained, such as the plastic wing eyelets, the Air unit on the heel, and the Jumpman branding on the heel tab and tongue.

Four colorways will be offered and will be available in the tonal variations of Hyper Royal/Hyper Royal-Black, University Red/University Red-Black, Volt/Volt-Black, and Total Orange/Total Orange-Gunsmoke-Total Orange, all just in time for summer. This version of the silhouette follows last year’s AJ 3 Flyknit and also celebrates its 30th anniversary. Each shoe is simply constructed with a Flyknit upper and features matching translucent plastic overlays on the wings and heel. Finishing touches include tonal Jumpman branding on the tongues, heels, and outsole.
