The Air Jordan 4 Flyknit is the third overall redesign of an early-era Air Jordan model and is coming to you this summer in four different colorways. With the silhouette’s 30th anniversary in full swing, the MJ-founded brand combines Tinker Hatfield’s original design with a modern Flyknit construction layered over an inner shell. With no seams or overlays, the Air Jordan 4’s distinctive lines are defined by its specially engineered yarn patterns, while the traditional wing-shaped lace supports and heels featuring the Jumpman logo are molded from an opaque material. Portions of the midsole reflect this “rubbery” look, while the rest of the footbed remains classic rubber.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4, the Air Jordan 4 Flyknit in “Hyper Royal” finally made its debut, a modern interpretation of the iconic silhouette reworked with Nike’s Flyknit technology. Designed for warm weather, the sneaker’s tonal knit composition features matching TPU components for the lower eyelets, wings, heel logo, and tongue label. Finally, contrasting black Jumpman logos on the insoles and outsole, followed by a tonal midsole, complete the look.
