Louis Vuitton has recently introduced a variety of new initiatives and products, such as the opening of its newest Italian café in Taormina, Sicily, and its FW23 camera bag, which is fully functional as a real camera. And now, to entice its footwear fans, the French luxury house has just released its brand-new skate sneaker, designed by KidSuper’s Colm Dillane for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 show.
Like previous LV skate silhouettes, this latest model features a bold construction. Its upper is brought to life by a mix of premium calfskin and technical mesh, accompanied by a set of two-tone double laces. If you look at the contrasting overlays, you’ll notice that the piece that starts at the collar and extends to the toe boxes is shaped like an “L,” while the other overlay on the forefoot forms a “V.” Additional branding can be seen on the heels and toe caps, both featuring monogram blossoms, while the padded tongues feature an “LV” badge.
